Recently-ish GM decided to embark on an unfamiliar path. They had been allowing Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on their infotainment systems. This allowed people to use their phone to display apps on the car's larger display. Fast forward to the new Blazer EV.

Bonus! But, what if GM wrote such an amazing piece of software that nobody needed to use their phone anymore? What if the car display was so awesome that it did everything you could ever ask it to do? Wouldn't that be so freeing? Wouldn't you like to save your phone's battery and just have a nice display in your car that works? Well, Tesla figured that'd be pretty neat so over a decade ago that's what they did. If Tesla could do it, why couldn't GM? So, they gave it the ol' college try. It was slated to bring forth their new Android and Apple less display and their new Ultium platform. Hark the dawning of a new age! Well, oops, I guess not..
